My dad decided to go to the Mexico vs. Brazil game and Alvin was with his girlfriend… daz koo guise. I pretty much just spent my day with my momma and Jose. My nigga got me this awesome case thing and keyboard for my iPad, iTunes gift card, and Pandora thingy! No more ads, YAY.

I really want to participate in obstacle races/challenges and 5K runs. It’d be awesome if I could ever get to the point to run a half-marathon. I wish I had a workout buddy or somebody to do this with. Sigh :(
On another note, my physics class starts on Monday. Ima forget all about Garcia’s class and go in there with an open mind. Awh yeah.

Working out feels goooood.
Met another student today at the clinic and it was nice being able to talk to someone about our little journeys. I decided I should probably not just stand behind the counter, but instead follow the therapist more often. I need my LORs somehow. One part I love about PT is being able to see the progression in a patient and seeing them walk out after their last session with a smile on their face. It makes my heart happy :)

One more week to enjoy summer!
Even though I have a class right now, I count it as my break because it’s so easy hur. I’m almost at 30 hours of observation at the orthopedic clinic! WOOO. Took me 6 months LOL. I need to find a new clinic to go to and get my recommendation form from the one right now. It sucks how I’m cool with the assistans and techs, but not the actual PT I’m supposed to be observing. It’s so hard though because I don’t want to invade their session. The staff are so friendly to me & I’ve become better at greeting and talking to patients! It’s actually my favorite part now. I love hearing their stories and giving them encouragement. Today I even got invited to eat lunch with the staff! Gonna try and go to a geriatrics or pediatrics location next. I’m saving TIRR or any other inpatient clinic for last. OH and I need to become friends with my physics professor this summer because I need a recommendation from a professor and there’s no way I’ll be able to do at UH with those huge classes. I’ve got my birthday next Sunday and 2 year anniversary with Jose in 3 weeks. Life’s good. :)
